Shokhan is the Impact Apprentice for Options Community Services in Surrey. She has a BA in English Languages and Literature from Sulaimaniyah University and an MBA in International Management and Leadership from the American University of Iraq-Sulaimaniyah. Shokhan has more than 12 years of work experience with Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in the fields of Communication, HR, Management, and Senior Coordination in different International Humanitarian Organizations such as Red Cross, ACTED, Save the Children International and Mercy Corps International in Iraq. She speaks English, Kurdish, and Arabic and serves dutifully as the team’s Arabic-word-pronunciation-corrector in chief. Shokhan believes that life is full of challenges and the best way to face those challenges is with a smile.
