Alysha is the Impact Producer for Options Community Services in Surrey. She has worked with immigrants and refugees in various capacities for the past 9 years, and focused her Master’s in Geography on what barriers to accessing services they face and how they work around those barriers. She has designed and coordinated programs to showcase various talents and knowledge from those on the margins. Alysha enjoyed teaching English in Chile, Brazil, the Czech Republic, and France – and picked up on new languages and perspectives along the way.
